The Timber Procurement Assessment Committee (TPAC) assesses certification systems for timber, such as FSC and PEFC. The TPAC assessments enable the Dutch government to identify and procure timber that is produced sustainably. From 2010 onwards, the Dutch government is committed to sustainable procurement.

TPAC Stakeholder forum
One element of the assessment procedure of TPAC is the stakeholder forum. The stakeholder forum on this website enables the Committee to collect relevant information on the functioning of the assessed systems in practice. Together with analysis of the standard of the system and additional information gathered by the Committee the final assessment is made. Currentrly there are no systems discussed on the stakeholder forum. Reports from previous stakeholder fora can be found under documents.

The following systems are assessed by TPAC as conforming to the Dutch Timber procurement criteria:
-  FSC International
-  PEFC Austria
-  PEFC Belgium
-  PEFC Finland
-  PEFC Germany
-  PEFC Sweden
